Trick Shot Review

Sometimes the simplest formula to a videogame can be the most fun & rewarding, for example: throwing a ball into a box. Now imagine the same idea, except this time you have to throw that ball into a portal, to come out another portal, to hit a button, to rotate a box, so that when the ball falls back into the portal it goes straight up into the box. This is the description of just one of one-hundred levels of Trick Shot. Not only will Trick Shot win you over with it’s simplistic & clever gameplay , but have you eager to see what challenge awaits you on the next level. Let’s check it out:

ME PERSONALLY:
I LOVE TRICK SHOT! First, the simple gameplay mechanic makes it a great game to play on the go (like in a silent elevator). It has a bit of an Angry Birds vibe, but it’s more forgiving with having no punishment for missing shots. Also, you can take a new shot instantly after making a shot if you know you already screwed up. This helps save frustration on some of the trickier shots. Figuring out how to beat a level is really rewarding, due to the trial and error style puzzle-solving. New elements are introduced smart, by easing you into understanding how it works, then level by level becoming more complicated. There are one-hundred levels, but they will fly-by quickly, even if you make sure you get all perfect (blue) shots, which I felt I needed to do. In conclusion, I love Trick Shot and the game left me wanting to play more.
